Alternative for a changing bag or darkroom?
im new to developing film the old school way. I dont have a changing bag and won’t have one in a while… anf im doing lomo and need to roll the film back without exposing it. any tips? im completely out of it. lol. thanks
i’ve seriously thought about doing it in my bedroom at night and be under thick comforters of sorts. but will that really work? i dont want to mess the film up. lol
oh and im reffering to the 35mm ones (did a Holga mod), not the 12o medium format with paper backing, which i feel more comfortable unloading. lol. and thats to those who asnswered so far!

I wouldn’t risk it. Changing bags are inexpensive and very handy.

Sure,
Interior Bathroom
Closet, put blankets at the bottom if needed to block out light
Under Covers
Put up blinds on all windows, and use any room
You could also check to see if there are any local photo processing stores in the area, they might allow you to use their room if they have one

I have used LOMO’s and other 120 cameras before. When you roll the film completely to its end, the paper protects the film from fogging. Just do this under subdued lighting (not in bright sun)
I paid $20 for my changing bag (I use it for changing film in my pinhole camera).
