how much do enlargers for a dark room cost? oh, and how much would a good slr camera be? names of brands?

Depends on whether you are doing a b/w enlarger or color. You could find a used b/w for less than $100 - I found one for $50, plus the trays for processing photos.

I have 2 Minolta SLRS that I never use anymore. The world has gone to DIGITAL for which you don’t need a darkroom. In today’s market, with all the lenses and filters I have, I’d sell each rig for about $300 apiece. Each camera has a wideangle and a 80mm (I think) telephoto, and one of them has an autodrive.
